Terms of Service

Last updated: May 22, 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Multiloop, your responsibilities for your content, and how optional third-party features work.

Plain English Summary

  • You keep ownership of the campaign content you create or upload.
  • Do not upload illegal content, infringe rights, abuse the service, or bypass security controls.
  • Optional model-backed and third-party features can send the data needed for that feature to the relevant provider.
  • Paid subscriptions are not currently active for normal users; billing terms apply only if paid plans are enabled and shown before purchase.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and Multiloop. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

At launch, Multiloop is operated by an individual based in Denmark and not yet through an incorporated company. If the operating entity changes, we will update these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use Multiloop, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited by law from using the service

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for account security, including keeping credentials confidential, maintaining control of linked accounts, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

4. Service Description

Multiloop is a software service for managing tabletop RPG campaigns and related content. Features may include campaign management, character tracking, session tracking, sharing, collaboration, optional integrations, and optional assistant or model-backed workflows.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create, import, upload, or share through Multiloop. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, transmit, and store Your Content only as needed to operate the service, provide features to you and your authorized collaborators, secure the service, and perform safety, abuse-prevention, and legal-compliance review.

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to Your Content and that it does not violate applicable law, third-party rights, or these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use Multiloop to:

  • Violate laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Upload, store, or share illegal content, including content that exploits minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or violent extremist material
  • Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access
  • Abuse, harass, threaten, or target others
  • Use automation in ways that harm service integrity or other users
  • Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security controls

We may use manual review and, where configured, automated review to detect prohibited uploads and shared content. We may restrict, quarantine, remove, or report content and suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

7. Shared Content and Collaboration

You are responsible for what you share and with whom. If you create share links, you are responsible for access controls, such as passwords and expirations, and for lawful sharing of included content.

8. Optional Assistant, Model, and Third-Party Features

Some features rely on third-party services. When you use those features, relevant data may be processed by those services to provide the requested functionality.

Model-backed processing is request-driven. It runs when you initiate an action such as chat, analysis, prompt generation, image-related generation, or another generated-output workflow. We send the content needed to fulfill that specific request, which may include submitted notes and related campaign context.

Generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing and validating generated output before relying on it.

9. Availability and Changes

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or product reasons.

10. Fees and Billing

Paid subscriptions are not currently active for normal users. If paid plans are enabled, pricing, billing terms, renewal behavior, and any trial terms will be shown before purchase. Pricing may change with notice where required by law and contract terms.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through available settings. Account deletion is scheduled with a 14-day grace period before permanent deletion processing, unless a legal or safety reason requires a different handling path.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, security risks, legal requirements, non-payment where paid plans exist, or abuse of the service.

11.3 Effect

On termination, your right to use the service ends. Surviving provisions remain in effect. Some records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy, such as backups, audit records, security records, and legal-compliance records.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. By using the service, you acknowledge processing as described there.

13. Intellectual Property

Except for Your Content, service software, branding, and related materials are owned by Multiloop or its licensors and are protected by law.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multiloop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.

If liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability is limited to the greater of amounts paid by you for the service in the previous 12 months or EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Multiloop from claims arising from Your Content, unlawful use of the service, or breach of these Terms.

17. Governing Law and Forum

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and subject to mandatory consumer protections.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes are subject to the courts of Denmark.

18. Dispute Resolution

Before formal proceedings, contact us at contact@multiloop.app and attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days.

If you are an EU consumer, you may have access to EU consumer dispute channels where available.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service and/or email where required. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of updated Terms.

20. Miscellaneous

If a provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the full agreement regarding service use.
