Terms of Service
Last updated: March 24, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Multiloop. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
At launch, Multiloop is operated by an individual based in Denmark (not yet through an incorporated company). If the operating entity changes, we will update these Terms.
2. Eligibility
- Be at least 16 years old
- Have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited by law from using the service
3. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for account security, including maintaining credential confidentiality and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
4. Service Description
Multiloop is a software service for managing tabletop RPG campaigns and related content. Features may include campaign management, character tracking, session tracking, sharing, collaboration, optional integrations, and optional AI-assisted workflows.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and improve the service for you and authorized collaborators, including safety, abuse-prevention, and legal-compliance review.
You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to Your Content and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use Multiloop to:
- Violate laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Upload, store, or share illegal content, including content that exploits minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or violent extremist material
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access
- Abuse, harass, or threaten others
- Use automation in ways that harm service integrity
- Circumvent access controls or security controls
We may use automated and manual review to detect prohibited uploads and shared content. We may restrict, quarantine, remove, or report content and suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
7. Shared Content and Collaboration
You are responsible for what you share and with whom. If you create share links, you are responsible for access controls (for example passwords and expirations) and lawful sharing of included content.
8. Optional AI and Third-Party Features
Some features rely on third-party services. When you use those features, relevant data may be processed by those services to provide requested functionality.
AI processing is request-driven: it runs when you initiate an AI action (for example chat, analysis, or prompt generation). We send the content needed to fulfill that specific request. Depending on feature, this may include submitted notes and related campaign context.
AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and validating generated output.
9. Availability and Changes
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons.
10. Fees and Billing (If Applicable)
If paid plans are offered, pricing and billing terms are shown before purchase. Pricing may change with notice where required by law and contract terms.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through available settings.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, security risks, legal requirements, or abuse of the service.
11.3 Effect
On termination, your right to use the service ends. Surviving provisions remain in effect.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. By using the service, you acknowledge processing as described there.
13. Intellectual Property
Except for Your Content, service software, branding, and related materials are owned by Multiloop or its licensors and are protected by law.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multiloop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
If liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) amounts paid by you for the service in the previous 12 months or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Multiloop from claims arising from Your Content, unlawful use of the service, or breach of these Terms.
17. Governing Law and Forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and subject to mandatory consumer protections.
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes are subject to the courts of Denmark.
18. Dispute Resolution
Before formal proceedings, contact us at contact@multiloop.app and attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days.
If you are an EU consumer, you may have access to EU consumer dispute channels where available.
19. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service and/or email where required. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of updated Terms.
20. Miscellaneous
If a provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the full agreement regarding service use.
