  • Link the same character into campaigns when the table is ready
  • Character Analysis proposes reviewable updates from supported context

Session 12: The Siege of Ashford
Feb 14, 2026
The party arrived at Ashford just before dawn. Captain Holt met them at the gates with grim news - the Iron Pact had been spotted moving south.
Lyra cast Detect Magic on the town walls and sensed the wards failing. Thorin rallied the militia while Aldric fortified the east gate. The siege began at dusk.

  • Start from PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, PNG, JPEG, WebP, or pasted text
  • Bring stats, story details, relationships, and imagery into one organised record
  • Review the prepared character and save it to your Vault or campaign
  • Keep developing the character through relationships, writings, play journals, and campaigns

FAQ

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before you sign up.

Is this a VTT?

No. Multiloop is the story layer for your campaign, not a virtual tabletop. It complements Roll20, Foundry, and any other VTT you use. Use your VTT for battlemaps and dice. Use Multiloop for everything the story needs.

Does it replace D&D Beyond?

No. D&D Beyond handles official D&D rules, character sheets, spells, and mechanics. Multiloop handles campaign narrative: backstories, session history, world details, and the stories that make your game memorable.

What game systems does it support?

Multiloop is narrative-first and system-agnostic: no stat blocks, no rules lookups. It works as a story and memory layer alongside 5th Edition, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Blades in the Dark, Mothership, and other systems you bring to the table.

Can I use Multiloop just for my character?

Yes. You can start with a standalone Character Vault record, keep writings and play journal notes, share safe sections, and link the character into a campaign later.

Do session notes change character records by themselves?

No. Character Analysis can propose updates from supported character context, relationships, writings, play journal notes, and linked campaign context when available. You review suggestions before anything saves.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your campaigns, characters, and notes are private by default. You choose when to create share links, what those links expose, and when to revoke them.

Can I import my existing notes and characters?

Yes. Paste from a Google Doc or upload supported files such as PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Multiloop prepares a character draft for review, then you choose what saves to your vault.

Can multiple players join one campaign?

Absolutely. Invite players, assign roles (DM, co-DM, Campaign Editor, player, guest), and control exactly what each person can see and edit. Co-DMs can help run sessions, Campaign Editors can manage content without member-admin or live-session controls, and players bring their own vault characters while DMs keep secrets safe behind visibility controls.

Is Multiloop free to start?

Yes. Create a free Multiloop account and run a real campaign with core campaign and character workflows. There is no trial timer.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Settings includes a machine-readable JSON export of core account data, including campaigns, characters, sessions, timeline events, vault characters, one-shots, tags, and selected settings metadata.
